Coronavirus: Crown Oil’s Commitment to You
Due to the current situation, we are experiencing higher demand than usual which may result in slightly longer lead times. However, our vast infrastructure, dedicated drivers and network of support teams are allowing us to continue to meet demand and ensure our customers receive their delivery as soon as possible.

Action already taken
At Crown Oil, our employees’ and our customers’ safety is of utmost importance. As such, we have taken vast steps to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 while continuing to service the nation, which includes:
Weekly Covid-19 rapid testing
We’re proud to be running weekly LFT Covid-19 testing to minimise any disruption in our service and to help keep our customers and staff safe who cannot work from home.
Prioritised deliveries
Please note, all our deliveries are in line with the UK government’s guidance. Therefore, hospitals, emergency services, schools, nursing homes, care homes and ear-marked retail sites will take priority.
Contactless deliveries
As part of the measures we have put in place to limit the impact of COVID-19, we have asked our drivers to keep their contact with third parties to an absolute minimum. In those circumstances (and for the foreseeable future) our drivers will not be asking customers to sign their handheld device to confirm delivery/receipt.
All tanker deliveries, however, are metered and delivered quantities will be printed automatically onto the invoice thereby providing an alternative proof of delivery. We appreciate that some of our customers may require a POD signed by a member of their staff as part of their payment process, however, this will not be possible until further notice.
We will assume that you are happy to proceed on this basis and waive any relevant contractual requirement for a signed POD if you order fuel from us in future.
Working from home where possible
Following the most recent government advice, office staff are working from home where possible to continue to provide support and advice to our customers. Our offices remain open for key workers.
Please note, our operations are continually under review in line with the ever-changing situation. Thank you for your cooperation during these difficult times and stay safe.
