Q: Are you still delivering fuel during the Coronavirus pandemic?
A: Yes, as an essential business, we are working round-the-clock to provide same day and next day deliveries safely, and within Covid-19 guidelines. We are continuing to deliver to all locations nationwide but have made some key changes to ensure our deliveries are contactless.
We are dedicated to ensuring you receive your fuel delivery for when you need it, from red diesel, Industrial Heating Oil, diesel, Crown HVO fuel and more.
Q: How can I order fuel during Covid-19?
A: You can still reach us on the same number, 0330 123 1444, to place your order. While we are experiencing high demand, we’re working hard to deliver your fuel as quickly as possible, so we thank you for your patience.
Q: How quickly can you deliver fuel?
A: With strategically located oil depots across the UK and a team of hardworking drivers, account managers and engineers, we are perfectly equipped to handle every situation the Coronavirus pandemic throws at us.
That said, we are working 24/7 to continue to provide same day and next day deliveries across the UK.
We have a robust business continuity plan to protect our customers from any disruptions in fuel supply and have bulk stock onsite ready for delivery next day to avoid disappointment.
Q: If I have symptoms can I still receive my oil delivery?
A: Yes, all of our deliveries are now contactless so there should be no risk to yourself or to our drivers. Please specify this when placing the order, so your account manager can take down the details to ensure that your fuel is delivered safely and without hassle.
We have eliminated the requirement to sign handheld devices and instead, deliveries will be printed automatically onto the invoice to provide an alternative proof of delivery.
Q: What precautions has Crown Oil taken to protect its customers and employees?
A: We’re classed as an essential business so we remain on hand to provide 24/7 support throughout the Coronavirus crisis. We are operating rotating shifts and allowing staff to work from home where possible to ensure we can continue to deliver the unrivalled service we’re known for.
As part of the measures we’ve put in place to limit the impact of COVID-19, our drivers are keeping contact with third parties to an absolute minimum and will therefore not be asking customers to sign their handheld device to confirm delivery/receipt.
All tanker deliveries, however, are metered and delivered quantities will be printed automatically onto the invoice thereby providing an alternative proof of delivery. We appreciate that some of our customers may require a POD signed by a member of their staff as part of their payment process, however, this will not be possible until further notice.
We will assume that you are happy to proceed on this basis and waive any relevant contractual requirement for a signed POD in the event that you order fuel from us in future.

Q: How is Crown Oil helping key workers and essential businesses?

We hope that you’ll bear with us during these unprecedented times to keep our essential services running. We are also donating free hand sanitiser to Bury Hospice and Springhill Hospice to help keep them safe and say thank you for their continued hard work.
Q: I'm understaffed and worried about running out of fuel. Can you help?
A: Yes, absolutely! We offer a free fuel management service where your account manager will provide automatic deliveries when your tank levels run low, giving you peace of mind that you'll never risk downtime again.
