With Christmas just around the corner, it’s hard to not feel the excitement in the air! Unfortunately, not every child gets to feel the same excitement about Christmas as I have or yourself!

Back in 2015, we received a nice email from a guy named Dan who wrote to us about a fantastic idea that he had for the Children In Need charity. Here at Crown Oil, we love charities and even more so when it helps children, so when he asked us if we could help him and his team, we couldn’t resist.

At Crown Oil, we love to show some support where we can and we’re incredibly lucky to sponsor some very hardworking local teams and individuals. This weekend is bank holiday so we’d like to wish you all a fantastic (long) weekend but, if you’re looking to get out and do something different this weekend rather than ordering fuels and what not, why not join us in showing some support for these amazing folk!

As one of the social media and blogging team here at Crown Oil, I usually spend my day in the office (away from the normal folk) trying to come up with engaging, informative and helpful things to talk about. Last week, I was allowed out of the office to stretch my legs and spend my day with one of our fuel delivery drivers.

Here at Crown Oil, we have lots of fantastic people working for us. Some of our employees go the extra mile for charity and our newest charity supporter is Mauricio.

We are thrilled to announce our place amongst the UK’s 250 top performing mid-market private companies. Our first time listed saw us ranked at 163rd, almost halfway, however, we were just beaten by some incredibly tough competition for those few places.

Crown Oil is pleased to announce that we have entered into a long-term sponsorship deal with Rochdale AFC and will remain the football club’s shirt sponsors for the foreseeable future.

The students and teachers at Heap Bridge Village Primary School were delighted with the new Eco Centre. It will support the school’s outdoor learning programme.

Crown Oil has invested in a unique fuel conditioning item, which will be used as part of our main fuel refining service.

Following a successful trip to Denmark with the England U16 Handball team, we are proud to announce that local student; Caitlin Matthews has been called up to the Team GB Women’s U18 Handball team.
