What is premium kerosene?
Premium kerosene, also known as BS 2869 C1 kerosene, is a high smoke point, clean-burning kerosene with exceptionally low sulphur content and no additives required.
These characteristics mean that premium kerosene reduces deposit build-up in burners and appliances, which increases efficiency and your fuel economy.

Premium kerosene uses
Premium kerosene is used for heating in properties with no chimney or flue. It can be used for domestic heating but is more commonly used in horticultural applications to produce heat and carbon dioxide that is free from acidic combustion gases such as greenhouse gas heating.
C1 kerosene is also suitable for use in space heaters/jet blowers, wick fed lamps, and as a barbecue lighter fuel.
